Abstract:

This paper presents an ameliorated approach for human activity recognition (HAR) using thermal cameras. The use of thermal imagery is crucial in scenarios where traditional cameras fail, such as night-time surveillance or challenging lighting conditions and during detection of camouflaged objects.
