Abstract:

The article suggests a brand-new design for a multi-source integrated converter with For use in DC microgrids, hybrid energy storage (HES). A HES powered by supercapacitors is used in this setup to manage power fluctuations brought on by wind, photovoltaic, and sudden load disturbances. The lifespan of battery storage is extended and the size of the storage unit is decreased by incorporating a supercapacitor to react to high-frequency fluctuations. The control structure is made to ensure that renewable sources are working at their peak efficiency and that energy storage is charging and discharging according to power availability while also achieving power equilibrium in the system.
