Abstract:

There are different types of glasses in the world and our project is to specify the type of glass according to the elements in the refraction index like sodium, magnesium, and aluminum. Glass classification specifies the type of glass according to the properties of the glass namely refractive index and its types. Glass is a non-crystalline, amorphous solid that is most often transparent. There are lots of uses of glass, where classification of glass is vital for different applications. However every product and application needs a unique glass, for that reason within the industrial world there square measure differing kinds of glass that may create your domestic and industrial life easier. Hence in this work, Glass classification using machine learning algorithm is presented. The main aim of this project is to specify the type of glass according to the properties of the glass. In this work machine learning algorithms are used with a python programming language to identify the type of glass such as vehicle windows, building windows, tableware, headlamps, etc. In this work, Artificial Neural Network (ANN) is used to classify and generate the glass based on the properties uploaded by the user. The glass type is the result of the Application, and that result is helpful to identify the purpose of the glass which means it gives whether the glass is used for building windows, containers, tableware, headlamps, and vehicle windows.
